Thank you St. Martin's Press, Net-Galley and Lisa Scottoline for the opportunity to read an early copy of this book.

This was a quick read for me. Total reading time was about 3 hours. I enjoyed this story. It's told in Dual POVs. Maggie's and Noah. Before and After Anna. There is a couple twists in the story. One I had partially figured out but not completely. This is a page turner and had me sucked in. I am giving 4 stars because I found the ending to be lacking a bit. Thanks for another great read Lisa Scottoline.

JaM Review: 4 Stars from Tracy

A Little Spark by Amy K. McClung is a fun, sassy romance filled with plenty of laugh out loud scenes! This was just a great read all around. I loved the sassiness and sarcasm between the main characters. Jillian is a firefighter who would be any man's fantasy hero and Sam is a sweet, down-to-earth realtor. When the two meet there is a little spark that continues to grow with their sexy back and forth sexually charged innuendos. Both characters are a little gun-shy from having prior relationships that left scars, but as usual love conquers all. The characters in this book are really great and the author does a wonderful job of making us want more of them!! I was given an ARC for my honest review of this book.

Author Bio

Amy McClung was born in Nashville, TN. She is the second oldest of four girls and occasionally suffers from middle child syndrome. She met the love of her life online in August of 2004, on his birthday of all days, and married him in September 2005. Currently they have no human children only the room full of colorful robots that transform into vehicles and the large headed Pop Funko’s who represent their favorite characters. Collecting movies, shotglasses, Pop Funkos, and dust bunnies are some of her favorite pastimes. This is the story of Blake and Gavin.
co workers that become roommates and eventually more.

Blake is a bit on the weird side but I loved her. She is broken and just living her life without getting to close to anyone or so she thinks.

Gavin is a sweetheart. He is a great character who is always being put down by his parents

These two are just what the other needs. They are the missing pieces to help the other be complete and happy. This story has some pretty smoking scenes as well. Another great Misadventures story

 

Meet the Author


Elizabeth Hayley is actually "Elizabeth" and "Hayley," two friends who love reading romance novels to obsessive levels. This mutual love prompted them to put their English degrees to good use by penning their own. The product is Pieces of Perfect, their debut novel. They learned a ton about one another through the process, like how they clearly share a brain and have a persistent need to text each other constantly (much to their husbands' chagrin).

JaM Review: 5 stars from Tracy

Our Unscripted Story by L.A. Fiore is a beautifully written love story between Alexis and Greyson. It spans many years, from first meeting and falling for each other at 16 and 18. They have young love and think it will last forever. Of course, things come up and forever is not as long as they had hoped for.

5 years down the road, they meet up again and the sparks fly...again. Can they make their forever last the test of time this time around? This book has so many emotions running through it. L.A. does an amazing job of introducing you to her characters and having you get to know them. I was extremely impressed with her writing ability and the way it feels as if she is right there with you as you are learning about the characters. This is one of the books that will be added to my best books of 2018. I went through all of my emotions reading this book and enjoyed every moment of it. I love when a writer can make you feel that strongly about her characters!

Thank you Net-Galley, Author and Harlequin for the chance to read this story. No form of payment was received and this is my thoughts and only my thoughts on this story.

This is a Love-Inspired Suspense book 1 in the Military K-9 Unite. Each book in this series is a continuation brought to you from another author, one book a month from April to December I believe. I believe this is the first book I have read by this author or it has been a long time since I have read her.


I loved the characters in this story. Felicity is a strong leading character whose life is so not going great, she is in the sights of a serial killer, she is grieving the death of her dad, having nightmares. She never gets any positive feedback from her boss. Westley is the other leading character, he is Alpha. He runs the K9 unit and he expects the best from his crew. He is also Felicity's supervisor. Yes, he harder on her then the others it seems.

This story gripped me from the get go and I didn't want to put it down. I loved the chemistry between the characters and I loved the dogs! I haven't read a military book in a long time that involved the K9 unit and I am glad I took this opportunity to do so at this time.

One of the mysteries in this story I did figure it out pretty early on. I can't wait to read the next book in the series to see what happens next.

JaM Review: 5 Stars from Mindy

I read an arc of this book for nothing in exchange.

I loved this book. I loved these characters. I love how the characters interacted with each other
and also with the other characters. It has a little of everything love, drama and hotness. The only thing I didn't care for about this book is the nick name "little bird"
This is a book 3 and I didn't read the first 2 books but still loved this one. Now I want to go back and read the others in the series.
I love the cover.

Full breasts spilled over into a small black bikini that left nothing to the imagination, it barely covered nipple for that matter, and the bottoms? Well she had to keep adjusting them lets just say high school bathing suits ten years later look small. 

In the best way possible. 

Head held high she walked right by me to Max, grabbed a shot, took it, then sucked the lime he held out in front of her. 

I growled. 

Max winked at me. “Something wrong, man?”

I reached for the non existent gun at my side, which just made him grin harder as he kept handing out alcohol to parents of toddlers. 

Because thats the type of party it was. 

Almost everyone started talking about their kids, retirement, stock portfolios, vacation time, and babies. 

It was almost too depressing for words. 

I had all those things but what I’d always wanted. A family. Babies. 

Maddy. 

She shared a sideway’s glance with me. 

I reached for her, but she pulled away and ran full speed towards the pool and did a giant canon ball. 

People cheered. 

While I watched as wet cold water ran down her curvy body, my gaze was so tranfixed on her erect nipples I’m surprised nobody pulled me aside about my current situation of arousal. 

Cold water. Fast. 

I chased after her, jumped in. 

And felt the warm buzz of alcohol fill my veins just as I popped up and saw Max follow, balls first, in my face. 

I ducked just in time so I didn’t get a fist full of balls. 

The guy only laughed once we both popped up. 

I swam towards Maddy, and tugged her against me. “Stop running.”

“I’m not.” Her breath came out raspy. “I’m just…reliving old times, isn’t that what you wanted? So we could have closure?”

Why did it feel like she was turning the tables on me. 

“Yeah,” I said slowly, “But—“

Her kiss was swift. 

Hard. 

Fast, and oh so very punishing as I gaped into her mouth and pinned her against he side of the pool. 

Music filled the air out of nowhere from somewhere outside, it pounded into my ears the way I wanted to pound into her. 

I grinned against her mouth as she wrapped her legs around my waist. 

And then Reid cast a shadow over us and started pouring vodka over our heads. 

Maddy tilted her head back and opened her mouth while I leaned in and licked it off her chin. 

People cheered. 

“Guys!” Someone yelled. “Keep it down, someones going to call the cops!”

“Cops?” Max laughed loudly. “I am the law, bitches!” The music blared. “Plus, we already got our cop here.” He pointed while I took another shot. 

People cheered. 

And then Maddy squeezed her thighs. 

Yeah the cops were coming alright.
