I volunteered to read a copy of this book. No form of payment was received. These are my thoughts and only my thoughts on the story.

This is a story of Noble a young girl who is trying to find herself and her happy place after her mama passes away. This is a story of love, faith, hope and promise.

This story drew me in and I didn't want it to end. This story is kind of emotional and you may shed some tears. Personally I got teary eyed towards the end.

I loved Merrick. He was my favorite character in this story, even though I loved Noble. I would love to get more of his story...Hint hint ;).

“You see, Noble – I’m bad news around here. You deserve to be with someone who’s in better regard in town. Someone you can be proud to be with.”
Reaching up, I cup his handsome face. “Don’t you see you’re better than what you think you are? No one’s perfect, Merrick. Lots of people have hard lives. You’ve been nothing but kind and caring to me. And your mama? You’ve just told me you’ll do anything for her and you have.” I smile and rub my thumb across his cheek. “I am proud of you, Merrick.”

Beneath It All takes us on a wonderful rollercoaster of emotions. The main character Victoria, gets diagnosed with breast cancer and we go with her on the journey of her life. This book brought me through a range of emotions, one moment I was happy the next I was crying. It also made me do a self exam in my shower that very same night. I feel like the author brought us to each doctor appointment and had us inside Victoria's head and heart as she experienced all of these emotions. I loved the dynamics Victoria has with her best friends and how they all pull together to help her get through this. We all hope when push comes to shove that our friends are truly friends like hers. This is a definite must read for anyone who needs a feel good book, it has a lot of heart ache in it but also the very strong message that life does go on, we must keep fighting. I received an ARC for my honest review of this book.

JaM Review: 5 Stars Reviewed by Tracy

This is the sequel to Beneath It All and you really should read that first to understand the whole storyline. This was another rollercoaster ride! I love the relationships Victoria has with her 3 best friends and her blossoming romance with Blake. I felt her sorrow as she deals with a friend going through what she just went through and tries to figure how to cope with it all. I laughed with her and cried with her, felt joy at her high moments and felt crushed with her low moments. This is a wonderful series that brings awareness to Breast Cancer, with bringing us along for the journey that Victoria takes as she fights for her life as everything blows up in her life and she rebuilds a better, stronger self through all of her pain. I was given an ARC for my honest review.

Happily married and the mother of identical twins, Tori Madison is active in the world of philanthropy and finds joy in making a difference in lives of others. She is an avid reader, lover of life and a breast cancer survivor.
