Beneath It All takes us on a wonderful rollercoaster of emotions. The main character Victoria, gets diagnosed with breast cancer and we go with her on the journey of her life. This book brought me through a range of emotions, one moment I was happy the next I was crying. It also made me do a self exam in my shower that very same night. I feel like the author brought us to each doctor appointment and had us inside Victoria's head and heart as she experienced all of these emotions. I loved the dynamics Victoria has with her best friends and how they all pull together to help her get through this. We all hope when push comes to shove that our friends are truly friends like hers. This is a definite must read for anyone who needs a feel good book, it has a lot of heart ache in it but also the very strong message that life does go on, we must keep fighting. I received an ARC for my honest review of this book.

I associate them with the upheaval of my life to this point. The last few
months have been a test of my strength . . . mentally, emotionally, and

cancer. I was a successful business woman, running my own design firm, and
was happily married to my college sweetheart. My life seemed perfect. Until it
suddenly came crashing down all around me.

the midst of treatment, incinerating the remnants of my shattered marriage and

This is the sequel to Beneath It All and you really should read that first to understand the whole storyline. This was another rollercoaster ride! I love the relationships Victoria has with her 3 best friends and her blossoming romance with Blake. I felt her sorrow as she deals with a friend going through what she just went through and tries to figure how to cope with it all. I laughed with her and cried with her, felt joy at her high moments and felt crushed with her low moments. This is a wonderful series that brings awareness to Breast Cancer, with bringing us along for the journey that Victoria takes as she fights for her life as everything blows up in her life and she rebuilds a better, stronger self through all of her pain. I was given an ARC for my honest review.

Happily married and the mother of identical twins, Tori
Madison is active in the world of philanthropy and finds joy in making a
difference in lives of others. She is an avid reader, lover of life and a
breast cancer survivor. Currently residing with her family in her home state of
Minnesota, she can often be found at Caribou Coffee or at the dance studio with
her teenage daughters.
Writing a book was never on her radar. After a challenge
from an author friend to write 2,500 words a story came to life and a new
opportunity to make a difference was born. Her debut novel, Beneath It All,
released on September 24, 2014. The sequel, Beneath, You’re Beautiful, released
on February 24, 2015.
Tori is currently working on a spin-off series after taking
some time away from writing for family reasons. Look for updates on her
